Tolerance
Tolerance - the ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrence, or practice of something in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
I remember that had a family member who was so in tolerant, that most of the time he talks about black people. My cousin lives in a highly populated white community, that he only sees black people in the streets or people like to call it the "hood". Once I got so mad at the things he was saying. For example "If I ever see a n*****, ever again? I'm gonna treat them as my slave." I got so offended that I punched him right in the nose and was bleeding from his nose and went to the hospital. Ironically the doctor that helped my cousin was African American. So all the time he was being races against African American people, he'd paid the price.

Invisible Man
At the beginning of Middle School, all of my friends from Piper were in 6A and I was in 6B. I was the only kid from Piper and I had to make new friends quickly. For the first few days I felt invisible because I was too shy to talk to new people. Fortunately, the next day I was able to talk to people from other schools and made new friends. Those people who talked to me are still my friends to this day. It turned my confidence around, that I am able to talk to anyone without having the feeling to be shy. I was able to over come my fear of talking to other people. Quickly I started to gain new friends and help me to become the person I am today.

SLAM Blog 1
Summary
Slam (by Walter Dean Myers) is about a story about a teenager named Greg "Slam" Harris. His colleague describe Slam as "a player who could be the lucky ones and make it to the NBA." But there is one little problem about Greg, his grades are hysterical, (really really bad) he would cheat on test's and also lie of not cheating. He's in a relationship with a girl name Mtisha. Slam thinks that he might marry this girl and go to the NBA at the same time. On page 156 it states that " I hope me and Mtisha would go to the next level and hopefully be together for a long time." This proves that Slam is certain to have a long lasting relationship with Mtisha. Slam also believes that his team would be able to make it to State Finals with his lead. I know this from page 167 it states that " Based on our performance, we should win it all. With my lead of course." This proves that Slam is confident enough to win State Finals.
Character Analysis
I think that Slam is a person just chasing his dream to become an NBA player. One of things is that he likes to think he's better than anyone else. On page 146 it states that "Do you mean that kid from Wesley High? He's not that very good, I'm way better than that kid." This proves that Slam knows that he want's to be the best and act like the best. Also that he wants to make it all and also having Mtisha having her with him. On page 186 it states that "Once I make into the NBA, I'll ask Mtisha to marry me and have kids together will I'm famous." This proves that Slam wants Mtisha to be in Slam side the whole time. I believe that Slam is character that is just chasing there dream.

Piratica II Blog 8
Tough Questions
Finally, after an argument with the other pirates, Piratica is finally allowed to the ship in search of Parrot Island. This keeps me thinking, why does Piratica wants be a pirate so badly; that she would risk her life to find the Island. I know this on page 128 that Piratica always dreamed of going in adventures to find treasures. This proves that Piratica always like going on adventures. But, Piratica really never told anyone the real answer to go back to Parrot Island. I know this on page 136 it shows that the only reason to get in was to lie and never talk about the real truth. This proves that Piratica is no telling us anything about the real reason shes going to Parrot Island.
Reflection
After the pirates finally think about letting a girl join the crew, they finally reached a deal to let Piratica in the ship in search of Parrot Island. Now the pirates and Piratica are setting sails to the sea. After a day or two the crew and Piratica start to realize that waters are starting to get rougher. The wind starts to blow rapidly and dark cloud are forming rapidly. A storm is coming yelled Piratica, but the crew won't pay attention to the only girl in the crew. Than thunder popped. What will happen to the crew and Pirtacia?
