Connections
So far, in American Sniper aka the Life of Chris Kyle. The most lethal Sniper in US. history, during the Iraq War in 2003 to 2009. I always wondered how was a soldiers lifestyle during the Iraq war. As of January 11th 2015, it has become a major motion movie. So I decided to read the book of Chris Kyle. In one of the pages on 5 it said that " It was my duty to shoot, and I don't regret it." I always wanted to join some branch of the military when I grow up. But my parents and my uncles told me that I will regret it when I "shoot someone" Chris Kyle (author) has been faced with hate but he ignores it from the media. At first he didn't regret it joining the Navy then, later becoming a SEAL (Sea Air and Land). But he facing a whole different army that he will ever expect. If I join the military, I don't know what will come into my face.
Plot Analysis
In the beginning of the story we see Chris Kyle in a abounded building looking throughout the entire street. He's guarding the Marines down to Bagdad, Iraq. Until he sees this woman holding an object, turns out it was a Chinese hand grenade. Now he is putting a squad of Marines life at risk. He has no other choice, either to shoot the woman or loose American lives. Can't take the risk "BANG!' the woman is down on the ground. I believe that Chris Kyle will see similar things like this again in the near future. He has to test himself either " To kill or be killed. " He is responsible to look at squads patrolling the street and make sure there isn't any enemies or suicide bombers. I believe that he's going let a squadron (group of soldiers) die or maybe kill an innocent bystander on the street.
