Workers Rights

The way people are working in sweatshops and its horrific in what they work in. In the Bangladesh Article it said that "search for victims of the collapse of a factory building, scouring the basement of the complex that crumbled in on itself and killed 1,127 people." Also that in the Bangladesh article it said "The government has accused the owners and builders of the eight-storey complex of using shoddy building materials, including substandard rods, bricks and cement, and of not obtaining the necessary clearances." I believe that sweatshop workers should get their rights. There working in normal working conditions and the locations they worked in. I learn that the real truth of how my clothes are being made. Realizing were my clothes are being made is questioning were my clothes are made of.

The argument in the poem is how workers describe there conditions during the 20's. In "The Sweatshop" poem it said that I run the machine as if I wanted to overtake them —I race mindlessly, endlessly." Its talking about its taking over her life for someone else is life. From the article it talks about what happen but in a poem it describes what happen from 1st point of view. My understanding about this poem is that we don't know wear our clothing is being made. We need to know whats going on behind the factory doors. It also describes that whats it like inside a horrible working condition building you have to work in.
